With Valentine's Day coming up next month, I thought it would a good time to bring back this handmade Valentine's Day card sewing and crafting project idea. If you have some extra fabric scraps or strips just hanging around you'd like to use up, this quick and easy project could be just what you've been looking for.
For this project you will need:
- Fabric strips, 1” to 1 ½” wide in varying lengths
- 8” x 10” piece of muslin for foundation
- Cardstock
- Iron
- Pinking shears and scissors
- Sewing machine
- Matching thread
- Envelopes
- Heart template from the pattern

As usual, we have a step-by-step how-to tutorial to go along with it. Originally filmed in 2013 (when I had a cold - and you can sure tell it!) it's still a fun DIY craft to whip up super quick. You can also make your own Mother's Day cards, thank you notes, Christmas cards, and more using the idea!
