In today's tutorial, we will learn how to make a colorful rainbow potholder. This project uses the quilt as you go method, so it is a quick and easy way to use up fabric scraps. A bright and simple way to protect your countertops and tabletops.
For this project you will need:
- fabric scraps in orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, red and violet
- backing fabric
- cotton batting
- Insul-Bright
- walking foot
- fabric clips or pins
- scissors or rotary cutter, cutting ruler, and cutting mat
- iron and ironing board
- sewing machine and matching thread
- optional: basting spray
- printable template from the pattern
