Learn How to Make a Christmas Tree Table Runner - a DIY Christmas Tabletop

In today's tutorial, we will learn how to make a Christmas tree table runner using raw edge applique and a fold over binding. You can use this table runner to decorate your countertop or table top for the holidays. Makes a great gift too!

For this project you will need:

• fabric scraps for applique
• fabric for borders
• front fabric
• backing fabric
• cotton batting
• paper back fusible web like HeatNBond Lite
• fabric clips or pins
• scissors or rotary cutter, cutting ruler, and cutting mat
• iron and ironing board
• sewing machine and matching thread
• optional basting spray, walking or free motion foot, stabilizer 
• printable template from the pattern
