In today's tutorial, we will learn how to make a Santa Claus table runner. This project uses raw edge applique, a fold over binding, and simple mitered corners. It is a fun way to decorate your home for the Christmas season. Makes a great gift, too!
For this project you will need:
- fabric scraps for applique
- fabric for borders
- front fabric
- backing fabric
- cotton batting
- paper backed fusible web like HeatNBond Lite
- fabric clips or pins
- scissors or rotary cutter, cutting ruler, and cutting mat
- iron and ironing board
- sewing machine and matching thread
- optional basting spray, walking or free motion foot, stabilizer
- printable template from the pattern
