In today's tutorial, we will learn how to make a gnome table runner using raw edge applique and a fold over binding. You can use this table runner to decorate your countertop or table top for the February holiday. Makes a great gift too!
For this project you will need:
- fabric scraps for applique
- fabric for borders
- front fabric
- backing fabric
- cotton batting
- paper back fusible web like HeatNBond Lite
- fabric clips or pins
- scissors or rotary cutter, cutting ruler, and cutting mat
- iron and ironing board
- sewing machine and matching thread
- optional basting spray, walking or free motion foot, stabilizer
- printable template from the pattern
