Learn How to Make a Quilted Shamrock Potholder - a DIY St. Patrick's Day Project

In today's tutorial, we will learn how to make a quilted shamrock potholder using fabric scraps and strips. This project uses a simple self binding, raw edge applique, and mitered corners. Use it to decorate your home and tabletop for the spring holiday.

For this project you will need:

• fabric strips
• fabric for the shamrocks
• backing fabric
• paper back fusible web like HeatNBond Lite
• cotton batting OR Insul-Bright
• fabric clips or pins
• scissors or rotary cutter, cutting ruler, and cutting mat
• iron and ironing board
• sewing machine and matching thread
• optional fabric for hanging loop
• optional walking foot and basting spray
• printable template from the pattern
