Learn How to Make a Quilt As You Go Placemat Set - a DIY Tabletop Project

In today's tutorial, we will learn how to make a placemat set using fabric scraps and strips. Pick out different colors for each placemat for personalization. This project uses a simple fold over binding and is easy for beginners.

For this project you will need:

• fabric strips
• backing fabric
• cotton batting
• fabric clips or pins
• scissors or rotary cutter, cutting ruler, and cutting mat
• iron and ironing board
• sewing machine and matching thread
• optional: walking foot, basting spray
