Learn How to Make Quilted Americana Stars - a DIY 4th of July Project

In today's tutorial we will learn how to make quilted Americana stars made from fabric scraps. Use these stars to fill up tiered trays, bowls and baskets for the summer holidays. Goes together super fast and makes great gifts too!

For this project you will need:

• red, white, and blue fabric strips
• backing fabric 
• cotton batting
• polyester fiberfill stuffing
• pinking shears
• fabric clips or pins
• scissors or rotary cutter, cutting ruler, and cutting mat
• iron and ironing board
• sewing machine and matching thread
• optional marking pencil
• printable template from the pattern
